Symphony of Dreams is an immersive art experience created by Renaixance for BMW, exploring a poetic question:
If a BMW could think, feel, and dream, what would its memories sound like?
The installation unfolds as a three-act journey inside the consciousness of a machine.
In the first act, “Awakening,” light and sound converge as the car’s neural pathways flicker to life. Through music and motion, the audience witnesses the birth of consciousness, a machine opening its eyes for the first time.
The second act, “Memory,” reveals the emotional core of the BMW legacy. Visitors are surrounded by moving projections of the brand’s past: its heritage, human stories, and moments shared with drivers across generations. Within this audiovisual symphony, the car becomes a storyteller, its data transformed into dreams.
In the final act, “Future,” the installation opens into the car’s inner mind: a space of AI-driven reflections and human connection. Here, emotions are sensed and visualized in real time — facial recognition, voice, and heartbeat merge with sound and light, allowing the BMW to respond to those around it.
The journey concludes with an orchestral crescendo, a live performance divided into three emotional movements, reflecting awakening, reflection, and transcendence.
At its core, Symphony of Dreams is a reflection on our bond with technology, a dialogue between human and machine, memory and emotion, consciousness and creation.
